What will your job look like?

 

We are looking for highly technical HVAC Maintenance Technicians with residential experience that can promptly and effectively troubleshoot, diagnose and maintain air conditioning and heating units.

 

  • Clean, adjust and repair HVAC systems – air handling units, ductwork, vents, condensation drainage.
  • Maintenance of HVAC systems.
  • Troubleshoot HVAC systems and equipment to diagnose.
  • Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Track repairs and work completed in trade software, Service Titan.
  • Engage with customer/client to inform them of issue, solution and outcome; recommend products and services for optimal system performance.

 

What do you need?

 

  • Must have and maintain a valid U.S. driver’s license.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with preventative maintenance of residential HVAC equipment, including heat pumps, gas furnaces, air conditioning units, etc. 
  • Must have strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must have EPA Universal or EPA Type II certification.
  • Must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of required tools.
  • Hendrix may conduct a preemployment background check and drug test, subject to applicable law.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems and lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions. 
  • Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, and the parts and installation teams. 
  • Keep your company truck clean, inside and out, and maintain inventory 
  • Properly complete paperwork. 
  • Join the on-call rotation. 
  • Participate in training allowing you to grow and develop as a professional. 
  • Have or be willing to get the proper certifications. We can help you with this. 

Qualifications

You must have these things: 

  • Good work ethic and willingness to learn new methods. 
  • A valid US Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record. 
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug test and background check
